She is an acomplished scientist holding a number of positions in American associations including the prestigious National Academy of Inventors. As she told us, her entire career is one of caring and serving others by motivating and inspiring to help everyone achieve their own goals.

At the conference on September 13-15, she will give a lecture entitled The Silent Killer: How the Epidemic of Misinformation and Low Health Literacy Affected the Response to COVID-19.

Dr. Oana Armeanu is an expert in political science, international relations and comparative politics. Among the research topics we mention: welfare state reform, political parties, elections and democratization. She is currently the Chair of Political Science, Public Administration and Philosophy Department. She is the author of numerous reference studies, and her latest published books include The Politics of Pension Reform in Central and Eastern Europe. Political Parties, Coalitions, and Policies.

In our conference, she will give a lecture on Political polarization, legitimacy, and the rule of law.

Thus, the two scientific personalities return to their homeland to share the American experience with Romanian students, professors and researchers.
