New Educational Partnerships with Universities in Africa

UID Rector, Dr. Steve O. Michael and Dr. Andy Pușca, President of the Administrative Board of UID visited Bingham University where they signed the Erasmus Agreement with the Rector (CEO) of the University. Bingham University was founded in 2005, but already has 7 faculties and more than 80 academic programs.  Bingham University is enthusiastic about developing its partnership with Danubius International University.

After Bingham, they visited Cosmopolitan University.  This private university is headed by a British chancellor. Although relatively young, the university is making a difference in engineering, IT, computing and data management.

Following working meetings with representatives of the National Universities Council and the Council for Vice Chancellors, was discussed the possibility of collaborating to establish a training program for university administrators at all levels.

In Lagos, Dr. Michael and Dr. Pusca met with Dr. Folasade Ogunsola, a specialist in infectious diseases, who is the first female rector in the institution's more than 75-year history. The event was attended by professor Ismail Ibraheem, director of international programs, deputy chief secretary, Dr. Obaro, Dr. Andy Pusca and Dr. Steve O. Michael. The University of Lagos (Unilag) expresses its support for our interests in the educational programs we are developing and declares its willingness to collaborate with Danubius International University.
