The 2nd edition of “Integration and Innovation: International Conference on Language Services and Foreign Studies in the Digital Age" aims at promoting language services and foreign studies in the digital era.

AUTHOR'S GUIDE

Today, a group of graduates from the School of Law, including the valedictorian of the class of 2024, Elena Anca Theodoru (Cazacu), the winner of the "Justice in the Digital Age" competition, visited Danubius International University once again.

The students received encouragement for their upcoming licensing exam from the University Rector, Dr. Steve O. Michael and the President of the Board of Trustees, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Corneliu Andy Pușcă.

We are proud of their achievements and wish them great success in the future!

On June 6, Danubius International University had the honor of hosting the graduation ceremony for the Promotion of 2024. This memorable event was marked by the presence of numerous distinguished guests and filled with moments of emotion, joy, and gratitude.

All four faculties of Danubius University - the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration, the Faculty of Communication and International Relations, and the Faculty of Behavioral and Applied Sciences - were represented at the ceremony. Together with the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andy Pușcă, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Steve O. Michael, the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Georgeta Modiga, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filip Stanciu, and special Alumni Danubius guests, Zamfira Burlacu, Mayor of Șendreni, and Lăcrămioara Stavire at the Galați Lawyer Bar Association, along with deans, professors, graduates, their families, and friends, celebrated in a festive atmosphere in Amphitheater I of Danubius International University.

The ceremony began with the Romanian national anthem, followed by a blessing from the parish priest, Cătălin Buia, who spoke to the graduates about the importance of self-confidence and faith in their future. UID Rector, Prof. Dr. Steve O. Michael, hosted the ceremony and inspired the audience with a memorable speech (the entire speech of the Rector can be found here), concluding with the phrase, “Great things are happening at Danubius International University!”

As “Only together can we make things happen,” the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Andy Pușcă, delivered a speech about the power of community and the importance of collaboration in turning dreams into reality at Danubius International University. Additionally, the students were congratulated and encouraged by the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Georgeta Modiga, and the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filip Stanciu.

Special guests, Alumni Danubius Zamfira Burlacu, Mayor of Șendreni, and Lăcrămioara Stavire, Galați Lawyer Bar Association, shared memories from their student years and expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to their professional development.

Following the inspirational speeches, the highly anticipated moment of diploma awarding by the deans took place. Graduates were greeted with enthusiastic applause from their families, friends, and supporters. The ceremony concluded with the traditional “Gaudeamus Igitur” and the tossing of caps, symbolizing the joy and achievement of an important chapter in their lives.

Danubius International University congratulates its graduates on their success and wishes them a future full of accomplishments and satisfaction!
