The promotion of the educational offer of Danubius International University was materialized through an initiative focused on academic information and guidance, carried out in pre-university educational institutions in the town of Ianca, Brăila County.

In this context, Assistant Lecturer and PhD Candidate Camelia Aramă, in her capacity as Director of DREU, in collaboration with the Brăila Center Coordinator, Mrs. Gica Ceauș, as well as with the President of the Danubius Student League, Florin Ciornea, conducted a series of interactive meetings with students from the “Constantin Angelescu” Theoretical High School and the “Nicolae Oncescu” Technological High School. The primary objective of this initiative was to present academic opportunities, study programs, and the advantages offered by the Danubius academic environment.

The scientific conference Danubius Vitae 2026, organized by Danubius International University, represents a key academic framework dedicated to the advancement of research in the fields of Life Sciences and Human Development. The event brings together students and academic staff within an interdisciplinary space of scientific dialogue, with a central focus on innovation, resilience, and the consolidation of knowledge in areas such as psychology, social work, and related disciplines.

In this context, the student scientific communications session, scheduled for 22 May, will benefit from sponsorship provided by Editura Prior. The sponsorship includes awards for first, second, and third place, as well as a special mention, in the form of specialized academic volumes, which will be granted alongside the corresponding diplomas as recognition of academic excellence and the quality of the presented research papers.

The promotion of higher education institutions’ academic offerings constitutes an essential endeavor in strengthening the relationship between the university and pre-university environments, while facilitating the informed academic orientation of prospective graduates. In this context, Prof. Dr. Filofteia Repez, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mocanu Mircea, carried out a presentation of the educational opportunities provided by Danubius International University within a high school in Bucharest.

The direct dialogue with students enabled not only the dissemination of relevant information regarding admission procedures and academic pathways, but also the stimulation of interest in personal and professional development within a competitive academic framework. By presenting concrete examples and career perspectives associated with various fields of study, the university representatives contributed to shaping a coherent and appealing image of the academic environment.
