Within the Faculty of International Governance and Law, represented by its Dean, Associate Professor PhD Cristina Elena Popa Tache, a symbolic academic–cultural partnership has been established with Professor Norman Cornett, an internationally recognized curator and promoter of intercultural dialogue through art and humanistic education, and a member of CIRET Paris.
Within the framework of this symbolic academic–cultural partnership, the Faculty assumes the role of supporter of Professor Cornett’s initiatives, facilitating the promotion, through its institutional channels, of selected cultural and academic events, with the aim of strengthening students’ transdisciplinary education.
Through engagement with artistic expression, historical memory, and human dignity, alongside studies in law and governance, this collaboration contributes to the expansion of academic horizons and to the cultivation of ethical and cultural awareness in contemporary education.
Within the context of this partnership, the following event curated by Professor Cornett is presented:

The public is invited to participate virtually in this exhibition, created by a Cambodian artist whose work reflects the experience of losing her husband and two daughters in the context of the massacres committed by the Khmer Rouge regime during the dictatorship of Pol Pot.
Guest of Honor:
Professor Peter Leuprecht, internationally renowned jurist and former Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Human Rights in Cambodia.
Special Guest:
Dr. Mounir Samy, distinguished psychiatrist, who will address the dimensions of trauma and resilience.
Through this symbolic academic–cultural partnership, the Faculty of International Governance and Law reaffirms its commitment to integrating law, culture, ethics, and human experience into the education of future professionals in the fields of law and international governance.
