Between 20 and 23 October 2026, the municipalities of Galați and Chișinău will host a series of interconnected international events bringing together clusters, SMEs, business leaders, investors, public authorities, universities, and European organisations from Romania, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, and other European countries.
The programme will commence in Galați on 20 October with the Clusters4Health Dedicated Seminar for Health, an event focusing on health and innovation within this sector. Danubius International University will host this first stage of the programme, thereby contributing to strengthening its academic and international dimension and facilitating dialogue among the academic community, clusters, experts, public authorities, and the private sector. The event will provide a platform for identifying funding opportunities and developing collaborative project ideas in areas such as personalised medicine and epidemiology.
On 21 October, the ECA Interregional Cluster Conference – Clusters as Competitiveness Integrators, which will also mark the 15th Romanian National Cluster Conference, will address key issues including competitiveness, innovation, value-chain resilience, industrial decarbonisation, logistics, SME integration, and interregional cooperation.
The conference will continue on 22 October in Chișinău, within the framework of the 2nd Moldovan National Cluster Forum, with a particular focus on cluster excellence, European integration, and the further development of the Moldovan cluster ecosystem.
The Galați programme is organised as part of Galați Business Week 2026, which also includes Romanian Business Leaders – Lower Danube and the Logistics Summit Galați, taking place on 22–23 October. The latter will highlight Galați’s strategic role as a multimodal logistics and investment hub in the Lower Danube and Black Sea region.
