Danubius International University hosted the “Steps Towards the Future” educational fair on Friday, 23 October 2026, welcoming high school students preparing to choose their university studies and explore future career paths.
Dr. Camelia PANFILOIU, Director of the Enrollment Services Department, the Career Counselling and Guidance Centre, coordinated by Ms. Eliz LOGHIN, and the Office of Communication, Marketing & Media Relations played key roles in the event. Together with the university’s deans, professors and academic staff, they helped students discover the academic community through presentations, discussions and answers to their questions about higher education.
In her address, Dr. Camelia PANFILOIU highlighted the educational opportunities available at Danubius and the importance of exploring them before choosing a degree programme.
The career counselling component encouraged students to consider their interests, strengths and aspirations when making decisions about their studies.
One of the highlights was the engaging interactive presentation delivered by Dr. Viorica ISAIA using Kahoot. Questions and challenges turned the session into a lively experience, encouraging students to participate actively and put their knowledge to the test.
Discussions with deans and academic staff gave participants a closer look at the university’s schools, degree programmes and student life. Information about study opportunities was complemented by direct interaction with the people who could guide them throughout their future academic journey.
Students who took part in the activities received gifts from Danubius International University in appreciation of their curiosity, initiative and involvement.
By bringing together information, guidance and interactive learning, “Steps Towards the Future” supported high school students in exploring their options.
We thank all participating students and accompanying teachers, as well as the colleagues whose contributions made the event possible.
