It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the departure of our beloved father, founder, and academic leader, Mr. Benone Pușcă, who passed away on September 8, 2022. Mr. Pușcă was an accomplished writer who published several academic and non-academic books, including poetry and drama. Mr. Pușcă was a recipient of the Romanian Ministry of Education Order of Merit for Higher Education.
Mr. Benone Pușcă is survived by his wife Alexandra Pușcă and his son, Dr. Andy Pușcă. Mr. Pușcă left behind a great legacy of Danubius University with over 20,000 alumns who are actively contributing to Romania, Europe and the world.
