The Leader of the Most Important Higher Education Organization in America and the Romanian Minister of Education will open the TDST 2021 Conference at Danubius University

Dr. Ronald Crutcher, the chair of the board of directors of the American Council on Education and also the President of the University of Richmond in the United States, says that he "looks forward to participating in the conference, Two Democratic Societies in Transition: Exploring the Dynamics of a Post-Covid World," which will be held at Danubius University from September 13-16.  

He went on to say that "I believe that the conference is quite timely given the new Biden administration and the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Joint Strategic Partnership for the 21st Century between the US and Romania.  It is indeed an honor for me to participate in this historic event."

Dr. Crutcher will share the opening plenary of the conference with Minister of Education Sorin Cimpeanu, and they will present their perspectives on "The Role of Higher Education Institutions in Facilitating Social Progress in Democratic Societies."  An impressive collection of Romanian and American scholars, policy makers, professionals, and students will also make presentations at the conference, which will operate in a blended format.
