Expanding the Horizon of a Rising Global University: Danubius University Goes to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Picture3In the spirit of his own words that say, “a good university is a universal institution insofar as knowledge is universal,” and the vision to transform Danubius University into a global institution, Dr. Steve O. Michael, Rector and CEO of Danubius University traveled to Pakistan from May 10-16, 2023 to meet with Pakistani higher education leaders.  When asked why Pakistan, Dr. Michael responded that “a university is not a political organization that chooses alliances based on political ideology.  A university is a knowledge industry that embraces the globe, and we go where a door of opportunity opens to learn, to teach, to collaborate, to contribute, and to form partnerships. By so doing, we transform the world.”
