Educational Partnership between Danubius University and Cyber Security Association for Cloud

Danubius University and the Cybersecurity Association for Cloud (CSA) have signed a memorandum of understanding in order to build a strong community of information security specialists dedicated to increasing institutional security and developing academic and business environments, national and international level too.

The object of the Memorandum of Understanding is the collaboration of the partners, materialised through the implementation of the activities necessary to achieve the agreed objectives.

This partnership aims to promote cooperation between partners in areas related to cloud and cybersecurity, with particular priority given to public-private cooperation, awareness and knowledge development, scientific and technological research; evaluation, testing, use and promotion of control frameworks and best practices on cloud and cybersecurity technologies, components, solutions, products and services, all carried out in accordance with the provisions of Romanian and International laws.

The Cybersecurity Association for the Cloud is a non-governmental, non-profit, autonomous and apolitical organisation of natural and legal persons, established under O.G. 26/2000 and has legal personality.

A few things about the purpose of the Cloud Security Association:

• to create a community for sharing information and knowledge on information security, cyber security in general and security for the cloud computing area in particular;
• to organise and participate in events, training and conferences on information security, cyber security in general and security for cloud computing in particular;
• participating with other entities in research projects, awareness projects or other types of events or projects on information security, cyber security in general and cloud computing security in particular;
• drafting, editing, elaboration, completion or participating in the drafting, editing, elaboration, completion of materials, guides, documents relating to the area of information security, cyber security in general and security for the cloud computing area in particular.
