Andrei Lupu – An Elitist Attorney

Andrei Lupu is an alumnus of the Law Faculty of “Danubius” University of Galați. In his opinion, the college years were decisive when choosing the future juridical career. Andrei explained to us that “during the years of study, his teachers didn’t only try to make us familiar with basic juridical concepts, but succeeded into lending us their passion – a fundamental condition to break through”.   

During the four years of study, Andrei was part of the Danubian Students’ League and took part at the meetings organized by the Law Faculty Council. “I didn’t stay away from the scientific sessions either and I showed my interest by participating in (and being awarded distinctions) projects of simulated law-suites, made possible by ELSA, in collaboration with other universities from around the country”. As a next study chapter, he attended another set of courses at the National Institute for Lawyers’ Training.   

Once a lawyer, he realized that he can be “a voice for the people who lost it cause of the problems they encounter” and that he can use his solid knowledge in the field of law to meet the needy ones and help them through.   

Andrei Lupu wishes “Lots of luck and courage!” to the freshmen of the Law Faculty and explains to them that “This faculty is not an easy one, so you have to expect to have a lot to learn. I encourage you to study comprehensively and don’t forget about extra-curricular activities: to enroll in student associations, to participate in contests of simulated law-suites, in scientific circles organized by the University, to be interested in study and practice scholarships as subsequently all these endeavors will be of maximum importance for your becoming as humans and future lawyers”.
