Save the Date: 15–16 May – EIRP 2026 at Danubius International University

The 21st edition of the International Conference on European Integration – Realities and Perspectives (EIRP 2026), organized by Universitatea Internațională Danubius, is emerging as one of the leading academic milestones of 2026. Scheduled for May 15–16, 2026, the conference brings to the forefront the theme “Emergent Global Issues in Education: Rising to the Challenges and Embracing the Opportunities,” reflecting the current concerns of the international scientific community in relation to the accelerated transformations in education and global society.

The event continues a well-established tradition of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and promoting research excellence, bringing together specialists, researchers, and practitioners from diverse academic fields. In the contemporary global context—marked by geopolitical dynamics, rapid technological advancements, and the reconfiguration of educational paradigms—EIRP 2026 provides an essential platform for the exchange of ideas, the dissemination of research findings, and the identification of innovative solutions to emerging challenges.

The hybrid format of the conference—held both on-site at the university premises and online via the Zoom platform—facilitates the participation of a broad international audience, thereby strengthening academic networks and encouraging transnational cooperation.

In this context, the organizers invite the submission of original scientific contributions that have not been previously published and are not currently under consideration by other conferences or journals.

The official language of the conference is English, underscoring the international orientation of the event and its openness to a diverse academic community.

Regarding the conference timeline, the submission of extended abstracts is scheduled until April 29, 2026, via the conference platform, followed by the notification of acceptance on April 30, 2026. The deadline for registration and payment of the participation fee is May 2, 2026, while the conference itself will take place on May 15–16, 2026.

Subsequently, participants interested in publishing their papers in the conference proceedings may submit the final version of their articles by May 31, 2026, through the EIRP Proceedings platform. It is important to note that submitting the full paper is not a mandatory condition for participation. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process, and accepted papers will be published in the EIRP Proceedings (ISSN 2067–9211), indexed in international databases.

Through its timely theme, interdisciplinary openness, and international participation, EIRP 2026 is set to become a landmark academic event, providing a valuable framework for critical reflection, innovation, and collaboration in addressing contemporary global challenges.
