Danubius International University and Kabarak University have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the beginning of a new international academic partnership focused on strengthening cooperation in the fields of education, research, and institutional development.
This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of Danubius International University to developing sustainable international academic relations and to actively contributing to the promotion of academic excellence, innovation, and the exchange of best practices in higher education.
During the official visit hosted at Kabarak University, the delegation of Danubius International University was warmly welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Professor Henry Kiplagat, together with members of the university’s executive management.
The delegation was led by Dr. Steve O. Michael, Rector and CEO of the university, and Dr. Andy Corneliu Pușcă, President of the Administrative Board.
During the official meetings and the signing ceremony, representatives of the two institutions explored opportunities for developing joint projects in areas of strategic interest, including academic mobility for students and faculty members, collaborative research initiatives, institutional capacity building, innovation, and the internationalisation of the educational process.
Representatives of both universities emphasized the importance of international academic partnerships in strengthening intercultural dialogue, stimulating scientific cooperation, and fostering competencies adapted to the demands of an increasingly interconnected global society.
The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding establishes the foundation for long-term academic and scientific collaboration aimed at facilitating the exchange of expertise, the implementation of joint initiatives, and the expansion of educational and professional opportunities for students, researchers, and academic staff.
Through this initiative, Danubius International University reaffirms its mission to promote the internationalisation of higher education and to strengthen the university’s position as an active contributor within the global academic community.
