The Faculty of Law and International Governance proudly announces the joining of two prestigious international scholars and professors to the Editorial Board of the journal Acta Juridica, whose academic and institutional contributions further strengthen the international profile and scientific excellence of the publication.
Mr Emilio José Armaza Armaza, Vice-Dean for International Relations and the 2030 Agenda at the Faculty of Law of the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain, is widely recognised for his activity in the field of international academic cooperation and the development of university strategies focused on the 2030 Agenda and internationalisation.
We are equally honoured by the joining of Dr Federica Cristani, Head of the Centre for International Law and Senior Researcher at the Institute of International Relations Prague, Czech Republic, a distinguished specialist in public international law, the law of state responsibility, international economic law, gender policies, and the regulation of cyberspace.
Her scientific activity is particularly distinguished through the coordination of major European projects, including within the frameworks of Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020, as well as through her involvement in leading European academic and institutional structures. She is currently co-founder and co-director of the Intersect Observatory. At the same time, she serves as an external member of the University Centre for Conflict and Post-Conflict Studies within the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague.
Her international academic career includes research and teaching activities at multiple European and international universities and research centres, as well as the position of Co-Chair of the ESIL Interest Group on International Economic Law during the period 2020–2023. Since December 2022, she has also been included in the list of external experts of the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA).
The joining of these distinguished academic personalities reflects the constant commitment of the Faculty of Law and International Governance to the development of international academic excellence based on scientific cooperation, interdisciplinarity, and openness towards the major contemporary legal challenges.
