In an atmosphere charged with curiosity and enthusiasm, the students of “Vasile Alecsandri” National College had the opportunity to visit the library of Danubius International University. The visit evolved into a captivating journey through the realms of science and historical knowledge.

The students engaged in an interactive academic dialogue, characterized by the formulation of pertinent questions regarding the international socio-cultural and educational context, with particular emphasis on the American sphere.

The event was honored by the presence of the University’s Rector and CEO, Dr. Steve O. Michael, alongside the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Andy Pușca. They interacted directly with the students, addressing their inquiries concerning American history, culture, and educational systems, while also providing valuable insights into academic pathways and the significance of understanding historical and international contexts.

Prof. PhD Candidate Camelia Aramă, in her capacity as Director of DREU, alongside Dr. Ciprian Manea, Dean of the Faculty of Global Business and Leadership, as well as the representatives of the territorial center—Nelu Simion, Bârlad Center Coordinator, and Ioan Diaconu, Center Secretary—conducted a series of activities aimed at presenting the educational offer of Danubius International University to high school students in Bârlad.

During the meetings held at the “Mihai Eminescu” Theoretical High School and the Technological High School Puiești, the Dean’s address highlighted the distinctive profile of the Faculty of Global Business and Leadership, emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of its study programs and their alignment with the dynamics of the contemporary labor market. His intervention was complemented by the presentations of the other members of the delegation, who underscored the importance of making informed decisions regarding educational pathways and encouraged students to capitalize on the opportunities provided by modern higher education. Through a coherent and forward-looking approach, the event successfully captured the participants’ interest, shaping a compelling perspective on the role of university education in building a successful career.

Prof. PhD Candidate Camelia Aramă, in her capacity as Director of DREU, together with Florin Georgescu, coordinator of the Buzău center, carried out a series of outreach activities aimed at presenting the educational offer of Danubius International University within several pre-university institutions. The visits took place at the “Regele Mihai I” Economic College, the “Grigore C. Moisil” Technological High School, and the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” Technological High School, where students were invited to explore the academic and professional opportunities provided by the university in a dynamic educational context.

The interventions of the two representatives were distinguished by an interactive and well-argued approach, designed to highlight the advantages of pursuing a university pathway oriented toward excellence and internationalization. Through coherent presentations and open dialogue, they emphasized the role of academic training in developing the competencies required for a successful career, while also strengthening the relationship between the university and pre-university environments. The participation of representatives of Danubius International University in meetings held in Turkey confirms the institution’s sustained commitment to strengthening regional cooperation across the wider Black Sea Basin. The initiatives promoted highlight an integrated vision of development, in which universities, public authorities, innovation centers, and economic clusters contribute synergistically to the creation of a sustainable collaborative ecosystem. In this context, initiatives carried out under the auspices of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme acquire increased strategic relevance, facilitating the exchange of best practices and the development of transnational partnerships.

Through active involvement in such projects, the Carpathian–Danube–Black Sea region consolidates its position as an interface between the European Union, the Black Sea area, and the international academic and economic community. Danubius International University assumes a key role in this process by promoting innovation, knowledge transfer, and institutional dialogue, with the aim of supporting smart and sustainable regional development.
