“Next Gen Science Club” – An Initiative of Young Olympians Supported by Danubius International University

Danubius International University promotes academic excellence and supports young individuals with outstanding potential, recognizing performance, innovation, and civic engagement as essential pillars of a knowledge-based society. By fostering educational initiatives developed by pupils and students, the University actively contributes to strengthening an educational ecosystem in which talent is encouraged and innovative ideas are provided with the necessary framework to evolve into projects with meaningful societal impact.

In this context, Danubius International University supports the “Next Gen Science Club” project, founded by Alesia Șerban-Radovici, Rareș Mihaescu, and David Nicodim—three international Olympians and graduates of the prestigious “Vasile Alecsandri” and “Costache Negri” National Colleges in Galați. The Club aims to develop an educational community dedicated to learners of all ages through mentorship activities, interactive workshops, and projects focused on mathematics, physics, and astronomy, fostering intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and engagement with the sciences. By supporting such initiatives, the University contributes to shaping future generations of researchers, innovators, and leaders equipped to address the challenges of contemporary society.
