Danubian Anthropology Days – Interdisciplinary Perspectives and International Collaboration

The event “Danubian Anthropology Days” will take place online on November 15, providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices in anthropology and related disciplines.

The event is hosted by the School of Human Development and Life Sciences, through the Department of Psychology and Social Work, and brings together researchers and specialists from Romania, Germany, Türkiye, and the Republic of Moldova, offering participants the opportunity to explore interdisciplinary perspectives on contemporary anthropological phenomena.

The School of Human Development and Life Sciences welcomes the participation of all interested parties—students, researchers, and academic staff—highlighting the event’s role as a reference point for strengthening scientific exchanges and international collaboration.

The Traps of Corruption and Poverty: European Perspectives with Laura Codruța Kövesi

The Danubius International University is honored to invite the academic community and the general public to a conference on the theme “Corruption and the Trap of Poverty”, which will take place on November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Aula Magna. The guest of honor of the event will be the Chief Prosecutor of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO), Laura Codruța Kövesi, a distinguished figure in the field of criminal law and the European justice system.

The topic of the conference thus acquires particular significance, aligning with contemporary concerns regarding the rule of law, the integrity of public institutions, European coordination in criminal justice, and the efficiency of law enforcement systems.
