Analyst Programmer
Danubius International University announces the opening of the recruitment process for the position of Analyst Programmer within the Department for Digital Innovation and IT Services, on a full-time basis, in Galați.
The position involves developing, testing and implementing software applications for the university’s academic and administrative processes, integrating systems and optimizing existing applications, developing and maintaining APIs and microservices, monitoring and securing the developed services, providing technical support to users, and organizing training sessions on the use of applications, digital tools and cybersecurity best practices. Candidate profile
- Completed or ongoing higher education in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related fields
- Experience of 1–3 years in software development or related roles (programming, systems integration, DevOps, automation, application support)
- Programming knowledge in at least one language (e.g.: Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, Java)
- Experience with web frameworks and technologies (e.g.: React, Angular, .NET, Django)
- Knowledge of developing and using APIs (REST, GraphQL)
- Experience with databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB)
- Use of version control systems (Git)
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD and containers (Docker)
- Familiarity with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices (OWASP Top 10)
- Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to document processes, code and procedures
- Adaptability, willingness to learn continuously and responsibility in data handling
- Mandatory requirement: Romanian and English (intermediate level)
Contract details
- Salary range: RON 5,000 – 6,000 gross / month
- Meal vouchers: RON 25 / working day
- Contract duration : 1 year with possibility of extension
Selection process
- Application screening stage – 12.10.2026
- The competition consists of an interview – 14–16.10.2026.
- The interview will be conducted in Romanian and an English test.
Only candidates whose applications are shortlisted will be invited to the interview.
