WORLD CONFERENCE – INTERNATIONAL OBSERVATORY FOR LAW AND TRANSDISCIPLINARITY (IOLT), First Edition – 28 April 2026

The first edition of the World Conference organised by the International Observatory for Law and Transdisciplinarity (IOLT), under the auspices of CIRET Paris, was held with outstanding success, bringing together an exceptional international academic community around the theme “Researching Legal Futures.”

The event featured keynote interventions by distinguished international scholars:
Florent Pasquier, President of the International Centre for Transdisciplinary Research and Studies (France),
Hubert Landier, Secretary General of CIRET (France),
Mariana Thieriot Loisel, Member of the Board of CIRET (France),
and Cristina Elena Popa Tache, Vice-Secretary General of CIRET and Chair of the International Observatory for Law and Transdisciplinarity (IOLT).

These contributions provided important conceptual directions for understanding the future of law within a transdisciplinary framework grounded in legal, epistemological, and technological dimensions.

A particularly valuable element of this edition was the active participation of the Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Governance, whose involvement strengthens institutional visibility at the global level and opens new avenues for academic cooperation. This engagement directly contributes to positioning the faculty within an circuit of excellence and to the development of relevant strategic partnerships.

For students, the benefits are substantial: access to cutting-edge debates, exposure to innovative approaches, and expanded opportunities to engage in international projects, all of which reinforce their training within a modern and adaptive legal paradigm.

Milestones in Choosing a University Path: Meetings with Students in High Schools in Mizil

Prof. univ. dr. Filofteia Repez and the coordinator of the Buzău center, Mr. Florin Georgescu, initiated a series of meetings with final-year students from the Liceul Tehnologic Tase Dumitrescu and the Liceul Teoretic Grigore Tocilescu, with the aim of presenting the higher education opportunities offered by Universitatea Internațională Danubius. These meetings emphasized academic pathways available to prospective students and highlighted institutional provisions for higher education training.

Within these sessions, communication was oriented toward active student engagement through applied discussions and exchanges of ideas, designed to address their interests and concerns regarding further education. Key aspects related to admission requirements and academic progression were clarified, thereby supporting the formation of well-informed decisions concerning the students’ future educational trajectories.
