The theme of the scientific event focuses on the search for practical solutions for teaching, learning and assessment in this new challenging context of digitisation. Participants, academics and researchers meet annually to exchange information and conceptually debate the broad field of education. Mobilising experts from different fields, the conference considers interdisciplinarity as a goal of academic research.

Online courses have become increasingly in demand, regardless of discipline, as the pandemic has succeeded in demonstrating that it is desire and perseverance that count and not physical presence in a space. Digital education as a set of knowledge and skills that an individual has when it comes to digital systems is, without question, the future. Individuals with a broad digital education will be the ones targeted for jobs in the future.

The aim of the International Conference Education in the Digital Era is to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and research results on the following topics:
