Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, keynote speaker at # EIRP2022, is Professor of Energy Economics, School of Management and Economics, Beijing Institute of Technology, China. Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz is also a Visiting Research Fellow in the Department of Functional Economics, University of Cambridge. He is also Professor at COMSATS University in Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Lahore, Pakistan. He was a professor in the Department of Energy and Sustainable Development, Montpellier Business School France. He holds a PhD in Economics from the National College of Business Administration and Economics, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. His research focuses on development economics, energy economics, environmental economics and tourism, etc. He has published widely over 325 research papers in international journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 530 to date. He is among the top 10 authors in the world in the Economics category, as designated by IDEAS.
