18th International Conference on European Integration - Realities and Perspectives

Danubius University May 19, 2023 – May 20, 2023

 

The hybrid conference (in-person and virtual experiences) will be taking place virtually on ZOOM platform and in-person at the seat of "Danubius" University, during May 19th-20th, 2023.

The central theme of the EIRP series of events focuses on the EU integration. The participants, academics and researchers, meet yearly, during the second decade of May, in order to exchange information and to conceptually debate the EU integration, its effects on the European citizens, key statistical facts on major European policy areas, the European Union progress, etc. The purpose of the Annual International Conference on European Integration - Realities and Perspectives is to provide a forum for exchange of ideas, research outcomes, business case and technical achievements. The subjects of mutual interest debated during the previous editions of the EIRP Conference Series included, but were not limited to: government debt, world trade, environment, migration, information society, dependency on energy imports, etc.

The organizers are looking for original papers, previously unpublished, not currently under review by another conference or journal, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the following areas:

2.         The Immigrant’s Legal Status in International Law;

3.         The European Citizen and Public Administration;

4.         Performance and Risks in the European Economy;

5.         Green Economy and Sustainable Development;

8.         Interdisciplinary Dimensions of Communication Science;

9.         The University of the 21st century - Challenges, Emerging Models and Perspectives;

11.       Sports Governance. Modern Methods and Practices;

12.       The New Paradigm of FinTech and CyberSecurity;

13.       The Youth of Today - The Generation of the Global Development – Estudentiana

OFFICIAL LANGUAGE: English is the official language of the conference.

 

 

DEADLINES:

Abstract Paper Submission: April 24th, 2023 on the website of the conference

Notification of acceptance: April 28th, 2023

Final paper Submission for the proceedings: May 31, 2023 on the Proceedings website EIRP Proceedings  (for those interested to publish in the conference proceedings)

Deadline for registration and for paying the conference fee: 1st May, 2023

PAPERS PUBLISHING:

All papers will be submitted to a scientific review process after which the accepted papers will be published in the EIRP Proceedings, under the ISSN reference 2067 – 9211, included in international databases (BDI).

WORKSHOP - SPIRITUALITY, TRADITIONS AND EDUCATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY

On Monday, December 19, 2022, starting at 12:00, the Danubian Studies and Research Center together with the Danubius University organizes the Workshop on the theme "SPIRITUALITY, TRADITIONS AND EDUCATION IN THE 21ST CENTURY". The event is intended for teaching staff as well as students, master's students and graduates of Danubius University and will be held online.

NON-FORMAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE - EDITION I

On December 8 starting at 15:00, the Danubius Student League together with the Benone Pușcă University Foundation and the Natural Sciences Museum Complex "Răsvan Angheluță" are organizing the "NON-FORMAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE - EDITION I", in the Aula Magna of Danubius University.

The coordinator of this event is Gabriel-Cristian Neagu, the President of the Students' League, and the Scientific Consultant, the Museographer Eng. Jan-Ovidiu Tercu, the Coordinator of the Astronomical Observatory, Galati.

The aim of this project is the development of non-formal education in the Galați-Brăila area through an exchange of experience that will take place at this conference. Specialists in non-formal education from museums, libraries and other organizations will be invited to this conference. The presentations during the conference will disseminate the activity obtained in the field of non-formal education by the participants.

 

  OBJECTIVE

  • The development of non-formal education in the Galați-Brăila area;
  • Improving knowledge in the field of pedagogy by designing and implementing the non-formal education program;
  • Encouraging pupils and students to participate in non-formal education activities.
